The Problem
The Body Shop called in Proclean to clean and seal the floors after refurbishment of the staff restaurant at their headquarters in Littlehampton. As one of the world’s biggest cosmetic franchises, with 2,400 stores in 61 countries, the firm’s HQ is a very busy place. The refurb was running late and delays meant the major cleaning operation had to happen between Christmas and the New Year, when Proclean staff were on holiday. How could it be done?

The Solution
Three of our staff gave up two days of their Christmas break to get the work completed, and one of our managers joined them to oversee the job. It was a matter of professional pride to complete the contract on schedule so that when Body Shop staff returned to work in the New Year, they could enjoy taking time out to eat in their sparkling new canteen.

The Result
The Body Shop’s Facilities Manager was delighted at Proclean’s reliability, flexibility and willingness to pull out the stops in difficult circumstances – and very pleased too at the superb cleaning and sealing job we performed. It’s just one example of what makes the Proclean difference.

The Problem
Torrential rain had turned Goodwood’s annual Festival of Speed into a mudbath. The celebration of motor sport was due to take place the next day with big names including Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button in the line-up, but organisers faced a huge challenge because of safety fears. 50,000 ticket-holders might be disappointed.

The Solution
Proclean were on the spot as cleaning contractors engaged for the event by the Goodwood Estate, and we had just the tools needed to pressure wash the track, get rid of the mud and ensure safe driving conditions. It was no easy task – we started at 5.00 pm and finished at 2.00 am – but we were proud to do it. (By the way, our staff were back on duty at 6.00 am the same day!)

The Result
Thanks to Proclean’s expertise, equipment and determination to finish the job, the Festival of Speed went ahead as planned, opening just a few hours later. Lewis Hamilton was back on track, along with racing legends Sir Jackie Stewart and Sir Stirling Moss. The huge crowd went home happy.

The Problem
Butlins at Bognor Regis chose Proclean because the holiday resort needed real professionals for a complete deep clean of its Splash Waterworld attraction. Pools, twisting flumes, beach area, changing rooms and floor tiles were all to be cleansed – but with 3,000 visitors a day in high season, how could it be done? Butlins is synonymous with great family fun and the cleaning job had to meet the leading leisure brand’s highest standards.

The Solution
Armed with specialist equipment and invaluable experience, our cleaning team set to work on a Friday evening, then worked through the night on Saturday and Sunday too. That meant there was no disruption to holidaymakers, who could use all the facilities every day as normal. It was a case of hard graft, the right tools and a dedicated team.

The Result
Butlins were so impressed with Proclean’s sparkling work at Splash Waterworld in Bognor and the efficient way it was carried out that they have asked us to come back to do the same again every four months and have recommended us to their resorts in Minehead and Skegness too.
